Olivia's 1st Birthday Party

Last weekend we celebrated Olivia's 1st birthday by throwing her a party full of pink and gold things and all of her favorite people!  

We completely failed in the photo department!  We didn't get a single picture of the three of us together, and it would have been great to get a picture of Olivia with her grandparents and all of the kids.  Sad day.  Olivia had a great time, though!  I Pinterested and planned for a couple months leading up to her party.  We had a couple of Pinterest fails, but for the most part everything turned out surprisingly well!

Olivia was completely spoiled by her friends and family and got some great new toys, books, and clothes.  Thanks so much to everyone her helped make her day special!

1 Year!

On Friday Olivia turned 1 YEAR old! How did that happen?!?  I can't believe my little baby has turned into a toddler, but we are having so much fun watching her grow.  Olivia is in the 50th percentile for weight and the 5th percentile for height.  She's a shorty!  

Olivia rolls, scoots and cruises, so we are just waiting for her to take her first steps!  She loves food and wants to try whatever we are eating.  If we hand her the spoon with food on it, she will put it in her mouth, then hand the spoon back for more.  She will be spoon feeding herself in no time!  She loves doing finger foods on her own.  We started adding whole milk to her bottles and she hasn't seemed to notice, so we will continue the transition from breast milk to whole milk.  Olivia learned to blow kisses this month, which is soooo cute!  She can turn the pages of her books as we read, and she recently started sharing her food and her toys with us.  Olivia's favorite things are food, playing with toys and dancing. This month she got to go to celebrate Valentine's Day, celebrate more family birthdays, and bring home baby chicks.

1st Birthday Photo Shoot

Our little lady turns 1 in TWO days!  On Saturday we did a mini photo shoot on my parent's property.  Olivia had fun playing with the props, but unfortunately by the time we got around to doing some family photos, she was over it and just ready for her nap (cue the grumpy face).
